Accurately Dosing Diesel Fuel with Abrasive Dye
A major petrochemical company in Ireland needed a compact and accurate dosing pump for their skid-mounted systems used for injecting a non-lubricating, abrasive dye into diesel fuel as an identifying agent. A smooth, continuous injection flow into the main diesel pipeline is required to ensure homogeneous mixture of dye and diesel. The customer chose Hydra-Cell Pro pumps to replace the previously installed traditional metering pumps for this application.

A major Russian gas processor needed a reliable solution to spray a hot (113°F/45°C) Monoethanolamine solution as part of their gas sweetening process. They needed a pump to feed BTX (Butane, Toluene, Xylene) into a catalytic converter. It was critical for the flow to be pulse-free, as pulses can damage the catalytic cells. Cleaning Internal Hydrocarbon Deposits from Steam Cracker
A major German refinery needed a reliable solution for washdown of its steam cracker – a critical process on the refinery. The cleaning liquid is a mixture of hot water and very low viscosity (0.5 to 1mPas) decoking chemicals, delivered at high pressure. Because of their robust performance, a Hydra-Cell Pro pump was specified and has been successfully running for over 15 years.
